At this point I have completely run out of things to say about beach glass. Well, I guess I could call it sea glass. Yeah, this is ... um... sea glass.

Finally, proof that the whole lunar landing was a fake. It was filmed on the beach in Loveladies. Granted this photo was shot in 2010 so for this theory to work, time travel needed be commonplace back in 1969. So what's more likely? Time travel or a moon visit?

Who wears cowboy boots to the beach? John Wayne? No he's no longer with us. The Marlboro Man? Nah, all that smoking probably knocked him off too. Woody from Toy Story? Cheers? I guess we'll never know.

You think you're a beach fanatic? These guys have you beat. Day after day, night after night, they stand vigil on our beaches. Guarding us from...okay I have no idea. Beach erosion?

Most people don't realize that islands float. The only thing keeping them in place are these pilings and a few ratty ropes. (PS I know islands don't float, no need to send me a corrective email)

In martial arts this would be referred to as a makiwara post. Used to toughen the fists up by striking it. Problem with this one is that it is anchored in the bay and unless you were a master from a good Kung Fu movie, you won't be able to walk on water to use it.

Billy bottles bottles by the bayside brewery. Try and say that ten times fast. Or, once slowly. Hah! Made you do it. I have control of your mind now. Buy one of my photos. ;-)

Perched high atop the National Harbor this majestic eagle guards those below him. Guards may be too strong of a word. Not like he's really going to sweep down and take out some evil-doers. He's bolted to a pole.

This one goes out to my folks who are long-time Kubel's patrons and to me and my wife who have had some great times and food there. Hard to think of another place on the island where tourists, locals, fisherman and coasties all converge and get along.

Sometimes when you leave Kubel's and gently fall asleep in the parking lot by the marina you are awoken. When you manage to clear the cobwebs you might see this angle and realize that you never quite made it to your comfy bed.

Tired of terrorizing us from the sea, sharks have recently been spotted in the air. So now we need to look down and up for these nasty buggers. Really isn't fair.

The B-85 is a bit better than the B-84 which we all know was a colossal failure. It's thermodyne flux capacitor just couldn't get past 11 parsecs on the Cassel run. Okay, so it is apparent that I know absolutely nothing about cars or Star Wars.

On the sidewalk, one Saturday morning
Lies a body oozin life
Someone's sneaking round the corner
Could that someone, perhaps, perchance, be Mack the Ornament? Doesn't quite have the same ring to it as the Sinatra song.

This really looks like a photo staged on a Hollywood set, but in actuality it's just a typical summer day in Harvey Cedars. Sure the fence and dunes are new, but the shoes, not so much.

The term "shoobie" has such a negative connotation that shoe enthusiasts have taken to staging protests by picketing. Just re-read my first sentence. Are there really any of us who are NOT shoe enthusiasts? Which then would make us all shoobies, wouldn't it?

Let's see, a fish market that is right in Viking Village where the boats come in. Could the fish be fresher? Well, technically if the fish market was built on a barge that was being towed behind the fleet, but it would make it a little tougher to get to.
