Ol Barney Eye 1 - Many year's ago, before her cataract surgery, this is the lens she would use to shine out onto the world. You can see it too at the Barnegat Light Museum www.bl-hs.org. - Barnegat Light - Long Beach Island, LBI

Ol Barney Eye 2 - This is the lens that helped thousands of ships into the Barnegat inlet. All these little glass prisms concentrated a little oil lamp. Pretty amazing. - Barnegat Light - Long Beach Island, LBI

Ol Barney Mouth - This is up towards the eye, so Ol' Barney's Nostril didn't really have the right ring to it. This is the door to great views and breeze at the top of the lighthouse. - Barnegat Light - Long Beach Island, LBI

Ol Barney Ribs 1 - Two hundred and seventeen ribs in total. How many hours on the grill? How much BBQ sauce? Mmmm... that'd be one heck of a barbeque. But we couldn't desecrate the old girl like that. Why am I hungry all of the sudden? - Barnegat Light - Long Beach Island, LBI

Ol Barney Ribs 2 - If you've never walked to the top of the lighthouse, you really should. That view is only 217 steps and $1 away. Plus, you are walking up in a piece of history. Very cool. - Barnegat Light - Long Beach Island, LBI

Ol Barney Spine - 217 steps. That's 434 for a roundtrip visit to the top. Or about 17 days on a Stairmaster. Or at least that's how it felt. Feel the burn. - Barnegat Light - Long Beach Island, LBI
